Note from Anna:
At the time of writing, I have just completed Week 3 of a 5-week pottery course with Erica at Ayni Pottery and what can I say? Our 2.5 hour lessons every Thursday are my favourite time of the week. I initially resisted starting pottery just because it felt like everyone was doing it. Turns out everyone is doing it because it’s so much fun.
No phone, mucky hands, crack up natters with our group, time flies. Erica is a wonderful teacher. She has a wicked sense of humour, a really beautiful philosophy around working with clay and just a wonderful, warm aura (can I say that?). I just love hanging out with Erica tbh. It’s a bonus that we get to create with clay at the same time.
